Gordon started writing professionally in 2007, principally upon the subjects of food and travel. He has recently started writing reviews of the many (particularly crime and mystery) novels he reads on a regular basis. He is also working on his own new murder mystery crime writing novels, set in rural Argyll, Scotland. The first of the novels, "Getting Into the Swing of Things," is now available worldwide on Amazon.

Gordon is passionate about finding new foods to try and experiment with, especially fish/seafood and wild game.
