Hi! July 2015 marks my 60th month on HubPages. - 5 years! I'm a 40 something South African mom of two over 6 foot tall teenage boys and my boyfriend and I work from home in the coastal town of East London, in South Africa. We do a bit of this and a bit of that to make a living. That work, and our interests, include: cut glass bottle crafts, sea glass, driftwood, beachcombing, recycling or upcycling crafts, managing our own sites, WordPress set-up, customization, and custom design; SEO, photography.

I enjoy SEO. I'm more on the natural SEO side of the natural SEO vs PPC debate.

We like to help others with our work from home ideas, or like to explain things we ourselves do to make a living, so that others who are struggling to find work or who need to increase their income, can learn from us. We are fans of not having to pay anything to start earning a living or start increasing one's income - that, or to pay very very little indeed to get started. There are too many scams out there. We do this helping or teaching through the articles we write - that we publish on our own sites or on HubPages.

We are also great fans of free or very cheap marketing or advertising methods, and of explaining to people that the more one markets what it is one does or sells (or is trying to do or sell), the more money one can make. It's no use joining or starting something (or worse, paying to join or start something) and thinking one is going to make a fortune. One has to work hard, and market hard.

Photography: Although we sometimes take photos for accommodation establishments when we design their websites, or do beach family photo shoots, we mostly simply enjoy taking photos in and around my hometown East London, South Africa - at the beach in particular, and taking photographs of the things we make to sell.

I appreciate and like honest and down to earth people who work hard at all they do.
