You spoke, we listened. Thank you, everyone, who responded with ideas for future contest ideas. First up, the topic with the most interest, will be a contest with the theme of poetry/short fiction. Please submit your published work by March 22nd, 2019 to contests@hubpages.com. We will choose five of the most creative and powerful poems/stories to be individually featured on the LetterPile and HubPages Facebook pages, in the newsletter, and on our Instagram feed (for shorter poems/fiction only. Longer stories will be a link in our bio.) This will take place over the span of five weeks. Let your imagination run wild! We are so excited to see what you do. :)

Do I Need a "Brand" on HubPages?

The Answer Is, No! 

Feeling torn when choosing a theme for your writing? Well, there’s no need to stress! One of the perks of writing for HubPages is that you can write about whatever you want, whenever you want. Just be sure that you are genuinely passionate about what you’re writing, whether it be poetry or how-to guides. If you’re writing solely with the goal of making money (i.e., plugging in lots of keywords and products), your articles probably won’t get the care and dedication they deserve to become a truly useful and successful resource.
