• Origin: From the Norwegian word for "well being." The Danish borrowed the term and expanded its meaning. 
• Meaning: The feeling or quality of being content, comfortable, or cozy. Associated with the winter months.
• Fun Fact: It was an Oxford Dictionary word of the year finalist in 2016. (The winning word was "post-truth.")
