What is your favorite animal to see when you visit the Zoo?

I enjoy seeing all the animals, but the Detroit Zoo has the polar bear tank that you an walk underneath and see the bears swimming, so I like that part. I also like seeing the monkeys and the tigers. What is your or your child's favorite animal to see?

I like to go into the bird section at zoos.  I like to see all the tropical birds, but I am also a fan of penguins.  If possible, I really enjoy zoos that allow you to have a parrot sit on your shoulder or something.  I guess I just really need to have a pet bird again.

I like the penguins too...they definitely smell, but I don't have a good sense of smell anyway! I had a friend when I was young who had a pet bird and I thought it was so cool. I think it was a white parrot and it was noisy.

As a child, my favorite exhibit was the Wolf Den at the Binghamton Zoo. You followed a path up to a wood cabin, but the path was lined with fence so you were actually walking into the center of the wolf exhibit. When you reached the cabin, the walls were mostly exhibit glass, so it felt like you were right in the exhibit with the wolves.

That sounds really cool, I would love to see an enclosure like that!

Anything in the reptile house! I love to see their setups, and see what species each zoo can successfully keep.
