The All New Jaguar C-X75 Heading For Production in 2014

To celebrate 75 years of Jaguars existence, this luxury automaker introduced the fabulous C-X75 in the 2010 Paris Auto Show! Jaguars aim was to show that it still has the cats’ growl in introducing innovative cars in the market!

This new Jaguar C-X75 just might set new standards in the automobile industry just as the Jaguar E-Type did 50 years ago!

This Jaguar C-X75 main innovation is probably the twin turbines mounted on the back, and they don´t power the wheels! The twin turbines run small electric generators that power all 4 electric motors! In fact, this stunning car is an electric 4 wheel drive car!

Now because of the sensation this concept car provoked in its introduction last year, Jaguar thrilled enthusiasts with the announcement that the Jaguar C-X75 will go into production and launched between 2013 and 2015 with 250 units!

Jaguar C-X75 - 250 Units to be Produced

The production of the C-X75 will not include the powerful looking twin turbines at the rear but instead a supercharged 1.6 litre gasoline engine. The production C-X75 will still carry the four electric motors attached one to each wheel.

Still, with these changes,  I´m sure that the engineers at Jaguar will not disappoint the enthusiasts!

Estimated price between 700,000 and 900,000 Euros, or about $1 million and $1.3 million at the current exchange rates, could be expensive in ones point of view but just think that this C-X75 just might be the world’s first electric super car that can possibly set standards in the future of electric cars!
