Do any of you know how to verify your account with Bing?
Since Google is being such a pill, I think I want to try and target other search engines like Bing and Yahoo. I tried to register my domain but it asked me to verify my site ownership and of course that failed. Do any of you have tips on getting your articles noticed by these other search engines?
Are you referring to your own website? And are you talking about Bing Webmaster Tools?
If so, then the easiest way is to download the verification file they offer when asked to verify and place that in the root directory of your server (via FTP).
I'm referring to my hubpages account. I tried to sign up for Bing Analytics, as I did earlier for Google Analytics, but, unlike Google, the verification file doesn't work. It says to put the file in the header of hour page. (?)
