Ten Thousand Page Views

When I started on HubPages almost four months ago I had modest goals. Write! Then write more!! Then learn how toput codes on my pages. The read others work. Then I had to register with google Adsense, Amazon which I am still not clear in and then a whole bunch more writing and I had to learn more about the technical aspects of writing for HubPages and I am still not god at that either.

But I set goals for myself. One goals was write 30 hubs in 30 days. No problem. Then it was to answer a 100 questions which I did. Then I wanted to get to a thousand page views and that happened as well. Then I wanted to make it to 100 hubs in few months which I did as well. Then I wanted to complete what I considered a years worth of work on the HubPages by publishes 3 articles a week for 52 weeks of the years which was 156 hubs. I made that goal as well. Luckily I have a 100 followers which surprised me as I write on such diverse topics I wouldn't expect to have regular readers. But it was a real pleasant and humbling surprise and I am so grateful. It wasn't a goal I thought I would attain for some time, The next goal was that I hope for 10,000 page views. I am almost there.

Recent events have transpired and i spend a great deal of my time working on other things right now so I will not be able to complete the challenge of writing a 100 hubs in 30 days. Although I am not ruling out that challenge later when things calm down.

Itis an incredibly humbling experience. I am merely trying to write something worthy of your time, attention and interest. To write something that inspires, amuses or entertains you or even perhaps educates you but I am not that pretentious. I am only the medium and the 10,000 views is a gift from all of you and for that I am entirely grateful. I keep teling everyone I am going to take a break. But I am continually encouraged and inspired to provide the HubPages with new interesting material each and everyday.

So I feel like the first 10,000 views are a gift from you my readers and I hope to give back to you as much as you have given to me.
