What determines the starting value of a hub post?
My most recent was the lowest hub post starting score ever, even though my hubber score is at its highest.
actually, my latest hub started at 45 - and others have started above 50, so I'm not sure that is correct. I understand that the number climbs as it gets views, comments, ratings - or falls from lack thereof, but every hub I've written thus far (all 4 of them lol) have had a different starting number. In fact, even my very first hub had a starting score over 50!
Starting hub scores fluctuate sometimes below 50, sometimes above 50. Depending on what I'm writing about and the amount of research needed, sometimes I let my hubs "incubate" as drafts before I release them for publication. I like seeing the hub score number increase before publication, when actually no one has seen the hub yet.

Good question, Toni! I've been wondering the same thing. I like the idea of letting hubs "incubate." I had unintentionally stumbled on that option myself in working on one of my longer hubs. I'll be following this to see what other answers come.

I did some research to try to figure out why my hub has nofollow links? My profile hub score is 73 and my hubs score is above 80. I read that you need to get your score above 70 to have dofollow linksDoes anybody know how all that works?

I find it kind of ridiculous that I have been waiting for a couple weeks now for one of my hubpages to be published. What was the longest time you have ever had it take to get a hubpage to publish?

I plan on editing my existing hubs, the ones with high traffic to get them to rank even better for terms they already rank for, but not at #1 spot. I have a premium SEM rush account using which I can see what I am ranking for and what I can improve upon. I use this on my own website with a lot of...

This is odd. I am in the midst of writing a Hub review of a movie called "Evil Bong." The movie stars Tommy Chong of Cheech & Chong fame and naturally, in the course of describing the film it's somewhat necessary to make references to weed, marijuana, getting stoned, etc. When I...

A Bit over the generated requests from hubpages re the not meeting standards - I had three /four videos on this hub and was told that some or one (who knows which ones) had poor pixels or some such - so to fix it i took off all videos - so no videos. Re-submitted and now find that my hub is still...
