What is the average amount of time that you spend writing a hub?
Individually anywhere from 1 hour to several weeks... collectively, about 4 hours is what I spend writing most hubs. I tend to write hubs in stages so I may just develop the pictures and layout, make a video, or write capsules. Then put it all together. That time frame can take a while.
It varies on the amount of research I have to do. For my historical hubs, it took me several days to research and write one up. For my hubs on natural history, I still research, but it takes maybe a few hours to research and write it up.
I spend a large amount of time writing a hub, and I'm never really finished, because I am constantly editing it and improving it with new information, pictures, and videos.
Well, the topics I know a lot about are normally 15 minutes to write. Topics that I don't know about are typically 30 minutes to write.
Around two hours total. It usually only takes one hour to write, but by the time I've come up with keywords, eBay/Amazon capsules, a summary and promoted it on a few sites, it's closer to two hours. I'd love to write more, but I don't have two hours a day to devote to it.
Eventhough I haven't publish any hub yet, but I have written some.If the hub is within my niche, it takes me 2 to 3hrs, at most 4hrs without research, but if its outside my niche it will take 1day to gather it all togther because of research.
About an hour if I don't need to do any research. Probably 3-4 hours if I have to look things up. I generally break up my writing time, however. I'll be working on a bunch of hubs at a time over the course of a few days.

daily - approximately? I think this may have been asked before - but I'm curious to know how much time the "average" hubber is spending here - all told.in the forums, writing, reading, etc.? I spend on average about 30min to an hour daily here - but that's a huge...

When looking for information on a hub topic it is good to make sure that the information is accurate and that you have done your homework because there is nothing worse than reading an article that has false information. This takes the reader away from your site as they feel that it is fictitious...

Because I'm curious, how long, on average, do you spend on an article?

By a top-quality Hub, I mean one that is more than 1,000 words, contains original or carefully chosen photos from other sources, gets a Hubscore at least into the 80s if not the 90s and is Featured. It may or may not be an Editor's Choice. By hours, I mean research, writing, editing and promoting.

Hey. I was wondering how long it takes you to write a hub. Perhaps an average time overall or for various types of hubs. I read somewhere of a guy who wrote 10 hubs a day for 10 days! In my dreams. I take well over two hours per hub. Probably more if I added it all up. Thanks,Juliet
