How long does it take Google Ad Sense to take effect?

How long does it take Google AdSense to take effect? Or what are the qualifications before I am accepted? I have completed everything else. If someone could educate me on this a little bit, I would appreciate it. Thanks

It's hard to say what Google's exact qualifications are as they say things like "a substantial, established web presence."  Having been here for such a short time and having so few Hubs, you might be declined for the moment.  Or not.  Or they might say your account is under review.

Those tend to be the three main responses, and it will take them as long as it takes to get back to you.  Oblique, to say the least...

I can share my experiences, I own two blogs in blogger, I have them for like four months, one is written in Mandarin, the other one is in English.  The mandarin one has pretty good traffic, but I got disapproved in that one, Some people said that it is because if you are in USA but written in a different languages, I need to wait for 6 months to apply.

The English one, I got rejected too, in Google letter, they said that my blog doesnt meet their criteria, cus in my English blog, I write two topics only, "work on line" and " learning Chinese".

I was very disappointed for that result.

Then I got hubpages, I have 6 hubs in varies topics mainly sharing my life. then I apply with a different google account, within one day I got approved, they dont care my traffic I think.

So I am starting earning now, I hope my experiences can help you.

Edit: because I answered before looking into each one of your hubs.

Looking at your site, you have a decent amount of hubs written, you'll see below that I said I only had 4 written when I was accepted. But you also have to consider quality. You have a couple hubs that are really short. And I'm still new here, but it looks like some of your hubs aren't very search friendly, which might cause Google to think about not accepting you. Try adding more stuff to your hubs, most importantly, more search friendly information.

I had probably 4 hubs posted when I was accepted. One was my "Finding Real Love Online", The others were about world of warcraft and cats and making spaghetti.

It took probably a week before they said "Welcome to Google AdSense! Before we can finish your review, you need to click this link... " yada yada. But all I did was sign into adsense and created an "Ad Unit". It was then that my account was fully accepted and ads started showing up on my hubs.

If you've gotten the email that says they've completed a partial review, and basically say "Welcome" but they need to do more research..... make an ad unit on adsense. It might kick start your ads.

    Hope that helped!

Another silly question since I am so new, (I appreciate your feedback) -  So the blogger site Google AdSense recommends you sign up for..(I only write for a magazine) .Those blogs have to be completely separate from what is written on HubPages right?
