I had applied quite a few times and I got the same reason: Insufficient content. So I guess, we need to publish more quality hubs. One more thing is that, (I read in some forum) Google AdSense is particular with websites from India due to some fraud sites abusing Google AdSense so I think the best we can do is publish more quality hubs, attract more traffic and be visible here in HP, if not every day, at least in most days.

Hi Ahana, though I am not admin, just wanted to let you know that your profile URL should be active and be having good traffic, hits for atleast 6 months before you apply for google adsense. I think this criteria is for India and few more asian regions.. So have faith and patience, keep publishing and hubbing and soon your can re apply and get through.. Good Luck !!

Same problem here!! But I think Google has raised the barrier. Now you must publish at least 20 quality hubs I think.
I am also from India. I published 10 hubs and applied for AdSense but my account was disapproved. Now I am trying to publish 20 hubs. Maybe, this time I will be approved. I don't think we need to wait for 6 months and all!!

Has to wait for  6 months. I have only 10 hubs and has adsense. It does not matter how many hubs we have. Time and traffic matters for approval. Mine got approved after 6 months.

Yes you do.  It's a Google rule for certain countries, including India and Pakistan.

Sometimes Indians get approved before the 6 months but it's usually a mistake.  When Google discovers the mistake (which they will when they check your address), they will remove the account. So it's not worth risking - be patient and wait for the 6 months.

I have joined since 8 weeks and as such do not have much idea on this. I did not apply for ad sense program yet and concentrating more on the quality of my hubs. I guess you should wait for some more days and also keep writing quality posts regularly. It will be accepted soon smile

We are from the same country and I am more than 7 months old in this community. The first myth you will hear is that before 6 months you can get adsense. This is rubbish and not possible. Secondly, 10 is no longer the threshold, it has increased to 20. I had applied with 20 and was rejected. Because they need 20 hubs which have over 1000 words.  So, wait till you are 6 months and write only hubs which are more than atleast 800 words.

      From the Adsense FAQ:

"Have you owned your site for 6 months?
In some locations, including China and India, we require publishers to have owned their sites for 6 months. We've taken this step to ensure the quality of our advertising network and protect the interests of our advertisers and existing publishers."

Writeangled, how did your reply get covered in a yellow background? I thought that only happened if you were  Hubpages staff. Are you now employed by Hubpages? Simone's response had a white backgound. Has she been sacked? What is going on?

I think we may already have established that the geographical restriction is a stopping point here. Of course putting up a few more hubs in the interim is probably a good idea.

This site is clearly not from India... so I don't know why that may be an issue.

That I wonder too but I guess by just being a writer/hubber from India makes a big difference!

I'm in Britain, I've written 14 hubs (although I don't yet have 10 featured hubs) and I'm still not being approved. It is quite confusing, as I think I've covered all of the requirements.

Hi Grace! Just had a look at your page - it may be that you are quite new to hubpages. Keep creating hubs and wait 1-2 months more. I have been rejected once and just re-applied now but I don't have high hopes of getting approved. It seems hard.

You must keep in mind that when you are applying to Adsense, it is like applying to the United States Government for approval of a legitimate business project.  Adsense is not a spam operation like many pay per click, pay per mail...etc...if you know what I mean.  So keep up the spirit of your writing and after they review your application again and see that you are sincerely trying to establish yourself online and not just earn quick bucks by spamming articles I'm sure they might reconsider you.\

If at first you don't succeed - try - try - again.
