   Maybe you are visiting them a lot? That's about all I can think of.

      The only similar thing I've experienced was a traffic rising symbol in a hub that has never been published. That most certainly was a glitch

   I've never had this happen or seen this personally. But I would have to guess you are visiting them a lot while editing, which is impacting the stats which display for that particular hub. If your not doing this it's more than likely just a glitch and you should disregard it.

      I unpublished 75 hubs and now the traffic shows rising on ALL ..I am not visiting them ...lol  weird but true

      If you have unpublished hubs, it could make sense considering the hubs had time to generate stats during their up-time. But in any case, its a glitch because unpublished hubs can't be visited from external sources. Definitely a glitch .

      I'm not sure what bright orange arrows signify. I have never had them appear either. But I would definitely say its a glitch. The hubs are unpublished, you don't visit them frequently, its most likely a glitch.

   The quirks of Hubpages escape me!
   
   The only thing I can think of, having read the other answers and your replies thereto, is that the one visit you made to the hub, to unpublish/delete it, may be making the difference.
   
   You don't give your reasons for deleting the 75 hubs, but if the traffic was low or zero then that 1 visit could represent a significant percentage increase!
   
   In total, across all of your hubs, you have added 75 visits to your tally.

      My reasons for deleting the hubs is because I need to spend time writing and not "updating " my "flagged" hubs...not due to zero traffic..I quit trying to figure it out and just am watching the orange triangles fluctuate/ increase on my unpublished

   Same with me I have more than 5 hubs in edited mode or say reviewed category but I ofen find them in different scores.Now-a-days they flutuate between 69 to 75.But those are not the answers what you have get yet.Why don't you write a new hub  on this topic?lol.I think it the complete effect of your online, current- publised hubs.
