Does Hubpages really make any money?

Hi my name is Lee and iv recently joined Hubpages. I am curious to know if creating these Hubs actually makes any money? Iv made a few but have had little feedback so i am just doing some research to find out more. I noticed you have a far few Hubs and would be great full If you could give me some information on how much they make and how to get more traffic to the Hubs you create?
    Thanks

Hi it takes awhile to make money.  I forgot which hub I read but it gave an estimate of 100 hubs and approximately $50.00 per month.  It really depends on the traffic to your hub.  Hope that helps.  The great thing is that it keeps paying so don’t give up.

It depends on how useful and well-written your hubs are. If you can get a lot of people reading your hubs you will generate a lot of money from them. I have gotten money from eBay and a $100 check from Google. You can make money, just not enough to quit your job. Do a search for hubs on hubpages, there are lots of articles written telling you how to get started making money, good tips on the best ways to optimize your hubs and how much money you should expect to make while at hubpages!

Hubpages is great, you can make a lot of money many different ways.

For me the majority of the money isn't made on the actual site, it is when the readers click through to my personal sites and buy products there.

But don't get me wrong, I have written under 50 hubs and on average I am making about .75 per day. That is not bad considering how much I make when a reader clicks through to my sites.

Just know that if you want to make money with hubpages you don't need to write a lot, but you have to create great articles that benefit the reader.

One trick I learned very quickly with hubpages is that you will rank higher for each article as long as you have a good individual hubscore and it is search engine optimized.
