not sure it is any of my business, but have you quit your day job and live off HP?
I'm just wondering if it will eventually be worth it if I keep going.
For some people HP work really fine, for some other not. Writting and earning online is challenging...and not easy.
Majority of my earnings come from online resources, but I quit my day job 14 years ago.
Last year I earned 8000 $ with help of Hubpages, how I did it I described in my Hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/pro-contra-affiliate-marketing
but it was not easy, neither was quick way and it requires a lot of effort and learning.
There are some very successful Hubbers here, we can get inspired by them, but everyone of us needs to follow his/her own intuition. What works for me it doesn`t work for somebody else and vice versa.
I wish you a lot ot luck.
I have not quit the day job yet, but sure would love to. I love writing and I hope to make some good money in the near future.
There are so many great Hubbers here with so much knowledge too. Yes you are right. Much work and time doing this but, nothing comes easy and nothing is just handed to you.
Actually I retired before meeting HP.
I would be the happiest if ever I could one day live off HP.
Right now I am still struggling. If ever my traffic surges, I shall definitely announce on HP.
I am still working very hard learning here and there, but nothing seems to happen yet.

Would you live off the grid?I am wondering what are your thoughts on off grid life philosophy. I will soon start my own journey, and share my thoughts, ideas and solutions. Why I decided to do this? I believe that time spent doing the things you love is the only way to go, and what better way to do...

Is it right that people can breed indiscriminately in Britain and live off the state?Especially as its the hard working middle class that pays their bills.

If you were given $20,000 to live off of for 1 year, do you think you could survive with that? Many people today have to make at least $40,000 to live comfortable. If you were given a set amount of $20,000 how would you be able to survive?
