   Well, for me it definitely has to be the fact that I can write about whatever I want (as long as I don't break the Terms of Service, of course), in whatever format I want, whenever I want.
   
   The absence of such freedom keeps me from joining a lot of other article sites that attempt to set limits or restrictions on what/how/when you write.

   Within reason, writing and posting when I want about what I want.
   The chance to help people who post sensible questions, and the chance to speak my mind to those who post inane questions.
   I do think the forums need sorting out, they too often degenerate into, off topic, and they seem to be populated by wannabe comics who are not funny.  Or others whose only reason to be there is to be sarcastic and score points off of other people.

   First it is free, second google loves it, third good opportunities to earn if we use the site on the right track without violating the TOS, fourth and last but not least is the Forum, very good place to discuss every thing, everyone on the forum helps each other.
   
   Simply what i say hubpages is amazing.

    Choosing what I want to write is important to me as to other writers.  Hubpages gives us a platform for our writing.  The community here is helpful and friendly.

    The answers here are all good, and I agree or fall in line with all of them.  I'd also add that Hubpages beats Info barrel and Squido pages for the user in terms of structure, or user interface.

    I love to write...and here it is so easy to do so... on your own time and of whatever subject you feel! And there is a huge community to discuss issues with and befriend almost anyone...as well as an opportunity to make a little extra income!! All positives in my book! A great place for almost anyone, and from almost anywhere!

    I agree with all of you and I really appreciate your answers! I like the fact that, even though I joined HubPages for my business, I feel like that's not all I have to write about. I have plenty of other interests that I've always wanted to write about, and I finally feel like it won't negatively affect my business.

    The thing I like most about HubPages is the community of writers. I enjoy learning articles from articles that are a new subject to me as well as supporting my writer friends in their writing. It is an awesome experience and I am happy to be a part of it.
