I set myself a goal to write a hub each day for 30 days. I'll be starting hub #2 shortly.
Good luck, I'm pressing to do one weekly now. I cleaned up my clutter and now I'm writing reviews on books weekly! It'll be fun but hey, if you have any suggestions for books... please god help me out!
Thanks Keith, I'm a little behind but trying to stay motivated. Good luck on your reviews. I will have to check and see what books you are into, I read a lot so I'm sure I'd have plenty of ideas!
Hi there everyone.
My name is Teresa Thomas. I am new at HP. Please, do me a favor, and give this newbie some tips on how to get started with writing on here. I'm must like the rest of you. I'd like to improve in my ability to write. I had done some writings for a blog called Good Blogs. At the moment, the owner, is coming up with a newer site for the Bloggers to write on. Matty of fact, he's coming up with three new ones. I've done a few articles on The Flaming Vegan. Unfortunately, I'm not much on the health craze that some of the friends, that I have met there are. But, all in all, I would like to improve in my writing. Furthermore, I'd like to earn some extra income as well from it. I've done several side writings when I was a young teenager while living at home. However, none of them of which, are publishable at the moment. There are a few however, that I would like to see get published. But, I need to work on them more. If anyone can assist me with this matter, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please, do let me know.
I do apologize for an error. Where it says, "I'm must" I meant to say, "I'm just" Please, do forgive me in my mistake. I am new with this thought of writing, and would greatly appreciate some assistance.
Hi Theresa! I have been a HP member for 4 years and the best tip I can give you is that you do proper keyword research before writing anything. Some niches just have too much competition. If you are unsure about how to do proper keyword research, I can help you (before anyone is asking, I am not selling anything.) get started. You can get in touch through my profile page here at HP. -Tom

Thank you Tom. I would greatly appreciate all the help that I can get. Say, I have a question for you. Do you have a face book page? If so, please, do let me know. I am there. All you have to do is to type my name "Teresa Thomas" at the top, and you'll find me there. I would like it if, you could send me a message on there giving me the step-by-step instructions as to how to get started on there. I would love to get started on this site. Also, there's another site that I am going to be working on as well, that is called Good Blogs. Here's the web site www.goodblogs.com Hope, that this will also, help you for further income. Hope to hear from you soon.
Tom, here's the web site for face book. www.facebook.com
Hi Theresa! I must be the only person in the world who is NOT using facebook I don´t have a profile and will not get one.Still, you can get in touch through my blogs contact form.I´m willing to help! - Tom
Best of luck!! When I first signed up at HP, i did something very similar to the 30 in 30 and it was a lot of fun (:
Hi Kristen! It´s a lot of fun to write hubs! However, if you are looking to make money you cannot write about just anything and everything.Keyword research is the key.Have you used Google´s keyword tool or some other paid tools like Micro Niche Finder or Market Samurai to find great topics?
tommen, thanks for the tip. I will be doing some research on Google to find some key words. However, what would you suggest, that I start searching for in order to write an article on? Look forward to hearing from you on this. By the way, did you check out the web site, that I gave you on writing? The one for horses will be up and running by this coming up week. I'm looking forward to it. Stop by some time and see what all I write over there.
Hi Kristen! I checked the site and it looks great. You can find great ideas for articles on Amazon.com, just look through their departments.Another way to find great ideas is to visit discussion forums and see what people are talking about, what they have problems with, then write hubs about that. You can also find great ideas for hubs on articles sites like Buzzle.com
Hope this helps! -Tom

Hey everyone,This might seem like a silly question, the answer to which is probably glaringly obvious to my more experienced fellow hubbers, but I'm truly at a loss here. I'd like to know how you come up with original hubs to write after doing research on a proposed topic. Nearly every...

When the March Q&A Contest was announced and there was mention of daily drawings for hubs, I had the idea that it was the perfect time to try out the HubChallenge with the added bonus of using Questions to inspire my writing. Last night when I should have been in bed it dawned on me that March...

I'm a fairly new hubber, but as a new month starts, I've decided to try a challenge. I have a series idea that should take care of most of the days. I just have to come up with something to cover the rest.I'll be wishing everyone else luck. I appreciate well-wishes in...

Ok, here goes. I rarely get involved in the forums, I guess I am a little on the shy side. I have been here almost 2 years now and have published over 80 hubs. I have only had 2 ever unfeatured and have deleted those and a couple more that I thought just were not up to par. My...

This seems like a promising journey!I've been here for twelve or so days and I have eight articles done. I have another five on the burners, too! My question, would that count, or would I start fresh and push for 30 Hubs? I'm not sure how this challenge works, on that end, but I like the idea of...
