Would there be a duplicate content issue? Is it a violation of HP TOS?
No duplicate content issue for HP or anyone else - except possibly Amazon, if psycheskinner is correct.
I published my ebook on Smashwords first. They publish your book in most ebook formats and it gets listed at Barnes & Noble, iTunes etc. I've also published on Amazon Kindle but it hasn't sold well at all.
No problem on the hubpages side, but possibly on the amazon side--they don't like ebooks that are available in full for free online
Good to know. I thought that might be a problem.
Ooh, is that true? I have an ebook which is a compilation of articles I've written online on various sites, including my blog. I didn't see that warning. Amazon hasn't said anything - though mind you, it's not selling well on Amazon at all.
Perhaps you could change your hubs for the ebook, show more content so that the hubs are more of a supplement to the ebook. I could see how this could work really well for a collection of how-to articles, recipes, opinion, etc. An ebook would allow you to go into a lot more depth I would imagine.
I have used several hubs in Ebooks and there has not been a problem. I use Booktango and Smashwords.
Have you done an eBook before Nate? If not, then doing anything - Hubs / bubbles / Whatever is probably a good idea - just to learn the process.
Yes, I agree. There's always lots to learn, I'd learn a lot just putting one together, a good step forward. It would definitely be a first for me.
Me too. I nearly did it a while back and then got distracted by laziness and inertia.
Sorry, I'm an aper. I ape people. I just ape lunch. lol. I know what you're thinking, I should have said, "stop copying me" to copy you and keep it going. Nope. Not going to do it. Okay, I'll do it.
Stop copying me.
Joking.
This is the part where you put your hand one inch from my eye and say "Im not touching you."
You can be my new brother... we will fight in the backseat and drive mom and dad crazy.
Yes, but every time we do that, Dad gets really angry and starts speeding on narrow roads. Last time it got real dangerous.

Would you keep a gun in your household for self defense or is this a bad idea?Would you keep a gun in your household for self defense, or do you think this is where parts of the world are going wrong and make a snowballing type problem?

Is it a good idea to back up my hubs?I have heard stories where people were banned from hubpages for no reason? So it is a good idea to keep copies of my old hubs on my computer or do I have nothing to worry about? I haven't break any rules or anything to my knowledge.

Do you think its a good idea or bad idea to write about politics on HubPages?Politics, like religion, stirs up emotions in some people bringing out their, shall we say, darker qualities. Knowing this is it a good idea to rouse them with political hubs?

I hope I'm allowed to ask this question ! I make only pennies on my hubs. Granted only a few are evergreen, but I'm wonder if I would be better off taking one of my everygreen hubs which would lend itself well to an ebook app and publishing that way. I've used ibuild app and...

I am about to publish an ebook (on Overcoming Anxiety) and would like to make use of my hubpages related to that topic (more to be posted soon). Will having an amazon link to the Kindle ebook count as one of my two self-serving links, even though it is in an Amazon capsule? I assume yes, but wanted...

Is using humor in your hubs a good idea?I think it can make your reader feel comfortable and familiar with you, but some might argue that humor makes you look less professional or knowledgeable. What do you all think?
