Been having trouble getting pages to load on site for a couple days now. Tried to load a photo on a hub earlier and it wouldn't work. Tried about 10 times to load it and just gave up. Now my comments aren't posting. Is soemthing going on with the site?

I am trying other sites right now to see if they are slow also. Many seem to be loading just fine, but others seems to be slower than normal.

I have the same problem and it just seems like it is HP.  Some of my comments are approved and get posted but then when I go back to look they are not there anymore at all...like I didn't post anything.  Some people that have left comments on my hubs do the same it comes up on my side as an emptly post.

Found my problem this morning. it was a phishing add on to my tool bar. Even though I white listed HubPages, it was still working the site and slowing it down. I just had to disable it.

It is fixed now. Everything working good. It was an addon to my IE that caused the problems.

I read a hub today about some insidious ad activity that can affect one's Google Adsense account currently happening on HubPages.  May I post the link to the hub here?   I would like to know what the story is.  Thank you

I took the liberty of going thru your hubtivity and reading that Hub. I have noticed a similar problem since a last few days. Whenever I navigate to the items "Hubs" or "Hubbers" in the navigation bar, a huge rectangle of Google ads pop ups. I did not click on any of them, but if you are not careful, you just might. It makes reading the profiles and the hubs a little difficult.

Have any of you hubbers noticed this too? I would like someone from the admin to shed some light on this.

Google is now starting to use expandable ads, which were just announced at the start of this month.  However, they are only supposed to expand if you genuinely click on them.

Did it solve the problem ? If not, there must be some glitch and I hope HP Admn. will take care of that after reading this thread.
