What does the score mean under the statistic tab on the my account section? I got a 53 on one of my hubs? Is that good or bad? I do not understand what that means.
That's a Hub score, which is the score your article is given to tell you how good the article is; based on algorithms. I believe a score of 60 is average; so up from there would be good.
The score changes over time, goes up and down. The score on your Hub could still go up. If it's new, it'll have a relatively low score.
You can bring the score up by improving the Hub.
It is mainly a gauge to tell you how good the Hub is. Has no direct effect on traffic. However if the score is too low, links in the Hub will have no link juice (outgoing links will not affect "linked-to" sites' standing with Google).

How does a hub score go from 100 to 88 in under a week? The screen shot was from the 6th - it stayed at 100 for another day, then on the 8th dropped to 99. Today it's at 88. How does a Hub drop 11 points in 3 days?
