Happy Tuesday, friends! Today marks the launch of our latest HubPages Network Site, Soapboxie, a site about political and social issues. Please feel free to take a look.
Clever title, and, IMO, the first one that immediately tells folks what they will find on the site.
I have an article in Soapboxie. I received e-mail that my article was snipped. Thank you, HubPages.
Cheers great hubs, just done this one you might be interested in!<link snipped>
Squash. Rant. Dork. That aside, quite frankly I am afraid.
Still no other hubs transferred I see.
Fear is indeed the predominant factor here.
And while we are kicking along, Is this here?
I poked the political forums with a stick for you.
Unneeded. I got notice one of my hubs was put into it...20 minutes before Christy's notice was made.
And a worthy hub it is.https://soapboxie.com/social-issues/an- … immigrants
The name is deceiving. I thought it to be for cosmetics, makeup, and grooming. But, it turned out to be for political and social issues. But, the articles in it are very great.
Hmm. An Americanism that didn't translate well. A soap box is something set into a public place than can be climbed up on in order to harangue a crowd from a small height.
Yes, Ven, wilderness is correct in his explanation, albeit humorous. It's a well-known term mostly referring to one who passionately rants on and on about issues close to his own heart. So this niche title is quite appropriate . . . and funny.
I feel convinced. Thanks, Wilderness, Jan shares.
Thanks for all the hard work you folks are doing. I've been pretty pleased with it all.
Now this, I like. Great work Hubpages!
Love the name!! I have no "Soapboxie" hubs, but that is a great website name.
I apologise, but this my thought, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YQM_zfYO7QFull screen of course,
I don't believe I posted this. But I stand by it.
