    Hi,

I'm curious if Flipboard improves traffic to one's hubs, and whether it's worth opening an account with them. Or if the amount of work involved is not worth it.

Next, about the 140 character bios. Is there any way one can write a bio and put it universally on all one's hubs? Or at least, an area where one can see all the different bios one has written and where they are?

    Many thanks

You can read your bios under 'about the author' on your account page or see the bios which you have created when you create a new hub near the copyright sign on the top right-hand side.
I think most people would agree that Flipboard is worth a try. I had a lot of traffic to my hubs when I first put them on but not so much since.

I think Flipboard is worth it. I tried it last week, and I got around 3000 views for one hub (over a couple of days)- now it has died down and I am just getting a couple, but it was less than 5 minutes of effort to set up and post one of my hubs.

Wow. Thank you. I will sign up immediately. I could do with 3000 views in one day. Don't think I've had that this time round.

Be sure to read Glenn StokĀ“s hub on how to use Flipboard. You are only going to get those kinds of numbers when a hub is already moved to a niche site, so it is not really worth your time to flip the others.
For those that are in niche sites and get moved to a Flipboard topic page, however, it is fun to see those numbers shoot up!

Why is that? Does Flipboard make a point of ignoring articles from hubpages?

Oops. Okay. I have to go back and delete. I'll have to click through my hubs to find which are in niche sites. Why don't HP mark which articles are on verticle sites? smile

They are marked you just have to click the drop down menu on your stats page. Select the site under filter.

On your profile page, they are marked too.

Yes - I have never ever got that many views in one day, and a very big increase from the 5 or so a day that hub was getting.

I think it might work better for some topics than others, but it definitely can work.
