I checked my adsense earlier and it showed I had 2 clicks for 43 cents. I now just checked it and its showing 33 cents for the 2 clicks. WTF. Why did the amount go down?

The Google God re-evaluated his earlier decision?

Yep that happened to me too!!

So I asked them directly and was told:

"Yes you received 2 clicks and the value of them collectively was .43c. However, you also received 1 Clop which cost .10c and was deducted from your account! Hope this has helped." hmm

      Yes, that's one explanation.

I've also been told that a charge of 10 cents for excessive use of resources can be made if you check your balance too often.

          Kristie,
the reason you haven't heard of it before is because I just invented it. And I thought that I better stop this right now, before it gets passed on as fact.

And I'm sorry - I don't know why your earnings dropped 10 cents.
          Cheers, Eric G.

No. smile Eric was joking. If this was the case, I'd know for certain. I use a program called SysSense that displays daily earnings in the bottom right hand corner of my task bar. It updates every minute. What can I say, I love the thing. wink It gives me great motivation when I'm writing to see the little window popping up telling me I've earned more money. I'm so addicted!!! lol

It probably depends on how you hold your mouth hmm

So just make sure that your click rates are up and your clop rates are down; don't check your balance so often and keep writing.

Trying to watch your $s grow on this is said to be as interesting as watching paint dry anyway. lol It makes No cents to spend too much time waiting so attentively for it to happen.

    Good Luck

Google is weird like that all the time. The other day I checked my earnings and they were $6.60, then I logged in 10 minutes later and they were $6.67 with the same clicks, so I refreshed the page and they went back to $6.60. I thought I may just be lacking sleep and hallucinating. But it seems to be a common issue.
