    May just be a glitch, but I'm seeing double red arrows in one of my hubs. Had me laughing for a while, thought I'd see 5 digits of traffic for this exaggerated icon. Sadly, not, but there was an increase.

    Does this really happen? smile smile smile

      Yeah, it does.  I just had double arrows on one of my hubs too for the last couple of hours.  I had to check a couple times just to make sure it wasn't a glitch, but there you go. smile

    Glad to know my eyes are not deceiving me. My sister-in-law was just telling us yesterday about this ghost-like incident she had. Letters started to appear on her laptop's screen, while she was checking their company's budget. smile

    The second thing that came to my mind was exaggerated traffic, perhaps changing numbers as I watch (you know the kind - rolling dials with increasing numbers). Too much TV, I guess. smile

      Ack! George Orwell!!!

      Seriously though. One of my hubs has that now, but the traffic figures don't explain it. Is there a time delay or sumpin*?

      * Purposely misspelled.

        The more hubs you write, the less you will obsess about your stats. And remember, you've only been here two weeks. Views, arrows, money, clicks - whatever...all these fluctuate on a consistent basis.

        I think you're probably doing just fine smile

        Don't worry.  I always seem to have blue arrows but then I always also get red arrows.  They will all level out after a while!

      Used to panic whenever I see a blue arrow (btw if there's a double red arrow, is there a double blue arrow?). Nowadays, not so panicky anymore. Ralwus is right, they come and they go. One day, they show blue arrows, another day, they show red arrows smile.

    I honestly don't mind if I got blue, green or red for that matter. I just wanted to lighten up the heaviness of this forum with a little laughter. smile  But I know a lot of you write for a living, so my hats off to you. I would like to write I think, but I need to go look for a job, I am borrowing a computer, and it is not always available, and plus I need to pay my own way where I am living. I can't keep hoping for red arrows for me, or there will be WW3 in the home I'm living in.......lol
