I have tried about 100 times to use that hub hopping feature.  It is the best way to find the worst hubs.  I can't believe some of the stuff I have read, out of duty, out of curiosity, out of inquiry.   But I never have been satisfied with it.  The hubs featured there are by far low quality in a ratio of about 7 to 3.  You read 10 and get about 3 good ones.

I can hardly make myself try it anymore.

I need some motivation, tell me why I should keep reading these awful things.

I flag them and help the hubpages staff keep the worst of it off of the network.  I think that keeps the remaining stuff at a higher caliber.

The Hub Hopper was designed to run the newest Hubs on the site past more users to weed out the crap.  If you go to the main Hub section and pick the "latest" option for viewing, you'll see virtually the same thing.

If you're looking for quality, take a break from hopping and read the weekly HubNuggets.  Then move on to HubMob.

Like you said you do find a few good ones. I know they are few and far between, but they are there.

Some I like some I don't. I don't hub hop often but sometimes curiosity gets the best of me.

Thats how I found you Steve. And am following you as well.
Just kidding, actually I don't know how I found you. But anyway,
You never know what you will find.

Look at it like looking for precious metals, and hub hopping is your metal detector.

I do a few every day and "flag" it is the only way and if we all do it a bit, in our different time zones we should start to get on top of the low quality problem- but no, i dont like doing it... but I dont like doing the dishes but i still do them

Thanks CW.  I've not done much hubhopping, especially lately with my return to work.  Thanks to you and others for giving me a new perspective.
