Why does my hubscore go up and down like the stock market?

    Without making any additions, changes, or comments, my hubscore seems to randomly fluctuate between 89 and 93. Today I hit a new low, 87. Can someone please explain this system to me?  I would love the option of turning the display off so it doesn't irritate me every time I log in.

    It happens to all of us. Traffic affects it, feedback, who knows what else..  It is what it is and it does what it wants.

      Interestingly, I had a small spike in traffic today so I really think a large component of the hubscore is random. I wish I could turn it off.

        There may be a lag between events and affect, also. We can only guess.

        It isn't random, it's just based on a large number of factors.  Unless you've got a sudden huge drop in score (say, 20+points at once), which would alert you to some serious problem you need to correct, it's safe to ignore the fluctuations.  I don't even take notice of mine anymore.  I couldn't tell you what it is at this moment without looking.

    Actually my traffic has been good for the last few days, but mu score has gone dipping like the temperature outside..the comments and feedback has remained the same..
    I guess it is one of HP idiosyncratic  ways.. Don't worry , it actually doesn't matter at all. smile

    This subject pops up in the forums as regularly as a HubScore bounces!

    Just do what I do... ignore it.

    Until I hit 100 and then the whole World is going to know about it!
