      I'm pretty new here, I'm a Londoner living in Spain, but I don't see any Spanish get togethers and I am in London quite frequently - do let me know of any meet-ups and I'll see if it fits with when I'm over,

         Whereabouts on the Costa Blanca are you living, Starcreate? I'm in Relleu which is about 20 miles inland from both Alicante and Benidorm.

               We are stormy here - no rain but very windy. Lost my internet access for almost 3 hours and was getting severe withdrawal symptoms, but it's come back on again. Long may it last. Maybe we should think about a Costa Blanca hub meet - there are quite a few of us here.

                  I'd definitely be up for a local get together sometime, it doesn't surprise me with Spain's economic situation that there are a bunch of enterprising expats hubbing industriously away trying to develop new income streams here.  Every little helps, as they used to say, back in the UK...

      HubPages will be having a HubPages hosted HubCamp in London in July.  HubCamp are more organized with a specific curriculum.  HubMeets are Hubber-led and are typically more social at a pub, coffee shop, book shop, etc. 
      
      One of the best parts about HubCamp is meeting fellow Hubbers and we wanted to provide a platform for Hubbers all over to meet: HubMeets!  A London HubMeet page has already been created here.

      There will be one in July
      
      I will probably make the trip down if the turnout is expected to be good, just to meet people, and as long as I get train tickets cheap enough (I hate coaches).

      Yeah I know, but it is dependant on Hubpages confirming the time and place - I don't intend to stay over in London overnight, so they would need to confirm the meeting in time for me to pick up the cheap tickets.... I'm not paying £60 each way, I'll put it like that

   Hubpages - July in London !!   There is just the chance that I might be able to get to that, we are planning a trip to the UK and it may be possible . . .    never mind tickets from oop north !  will be around a thousand quid each for us

   I'm a Londoner!  Although not by Birth, I was born in Preston and lived my of my life in Birmingham and the West Country.  But been in London for 2 and a half years and I love it. 
   I like the idea of a meetup being created though!  That sounds awesome!  And also getting a camping trip organized and going to stay in the countryside for a few days outside the city would be cool!
