I'm not sure when you stop becoming a newbie, but I know being one is tough.
Meeting people is even tougher.
This forum is for the Newbie, I myself at 4 months still feel like one but also feel a transition to a more comfortable place with some confidence.
So here, we can announce a newbie, welcome a newbie, a newbie can introduce themselves or even comment on a new Hub of yours, or maybe someone else will.
Networking is key and meeting other Hubbers is your support line.
So Welcome! Let's meet some Hubbers!
Thanks, Kimberly
I guess I'm still a newbie. Nice to be welcomed "officially" ha. Good to meet you Kimberly and others.
BTW, I also like your hubber name lyricsingray.
i feel kind of old being here for three months, but i think i still have that "new hubber" smell
thank you for this...what a great idea!
Okay, I'm not going to ask about the smell, cosette. But from you, it's got to be something out there wild and wonderful.
LOL
Cosette I cannot believe you've only been around Hubpages for such a short while and you reached your 100 author score. That is really amazing.
Well. I'm new and still feeling very wet behind the ears but I'm learning - the hard way as we all have to when you are new. Having a forum like this will help.
Thanks Kimberley
I am new here also, 5 weeks, met a few folks, put in comments and Hubs, still learning. Like it here, many good folks here I believe from what I see and read.
Jon
I'm pretty new!
Yup, this is a pretty good idea! I enjoy forums that has a Welcome forum section.
Welcome R2,Hope you get some fans on here, and meet some great Hubbers
O thanks!
I am your fan now. You've got great guts and honestly to be real about yourself to the world. Rare to see that.
Anyway, you're into witchcraft?
Yep I'm still a newbie but eh I still like to welcome everyone else who has just started this too. So welcome everyone!!!!
Well you're my newbie friend, i feel like there is a class scheme to Hubpages, and us freshmen have to stick together.
Great Hub Scott, wanted others to get a chance to read it too
http://hubpages.com/hub/Make-Your-Hubs- … les-Better
Thanks
Don't leave me alone in the world on none newbie ppl, SCott. I'm scared and yep us newbies must stick togeter
I don't think I ever formally introduced myself...I'm bad about that...just like to jump in headfirst sometimes.
Anyway, I think HubPages is great. Glad to be here.
I think many of us jumped in headfirst.
It is a great place and I enjoy being here, welcome and thanks for starting the thread, a nice idea. treading the forums at first can be .... interesting? especially the halls of politics and religion.
enjoy, be yourself.
I found a nice hub the other day that is helpful for forums. http://hubpages.com/hub/Hubbing-101-How … line-Forum
Yes, that is a good one. I like Yoshi's Hubbing 101 series, and fanned him for it. I cannot say I'll stay away from the politics forums, but religion? Well, let's just say I don't need anyone to affirm or denounce what I believe and it's not really up for discussion. I'm really just focusing on trying to make hubs...that's time-consuming enough.
Everyone has been really nice and helpful also. Thanks, and thanks to Kimberly for starting this thread.
I think that I'll always classify myself as a newbie/rookie here. That way when I screw up I can scream out: "I'm new! I'm new! I didn't know!"
Shame on the newbie that actually takes my advice about hubbing
SHOCK!!!
dohn, you are my hubbing bible! You rock!
Couldn't go wrong following you!
Welcome to our very mixed (up) neighborhood, anyone who feels new. Which is me.
I've fanned so many of you that I'm NEVER going to get to write hubs again, I have so much reading to do. (And it's good!)
Sorry, I was writing and didn't get to welcome so many cool newbies, so welcome and this is your forum, do with it as you want, glad your here
keep coming back
thanks, kimberly
I am relatively new to HubPages. I've just recently realized that there is a lot more to HP than posting my writing and getting feedback. I have not yet decided if I want to get into the SEO part of it, or just continue writing.
I agree that the new peeps should help each other out - as Scott and Dohn and Jeffrey Neal have done for me. (And many many non-newbies, too.)
Crazdwriter - your profile looks great. Good job updating it!
thanks brousardleslie...I knew it needed some updating lol And I wanted to put in there about the hubbers too so yuo all are a part of it. Hopefully ppl click on the link and look at everyone elses hubs too.
That's right! You are the one I saw who did that with the authors. So cool, Crazdwriter! It really shows where your heart is.
Truthfully yes I want ppl to read mine but I want other hubbers to get read too that is why I keep telling ppl that if they see something i write on a topic that is similar to theirs then email the linka dn which hub and I'll link 'em I like to help
hi i am new, started over, and need some hub love, well you know need to get acquainted all over again
This is great Hubbers and welcome, so glad your posting
Thanks
Kimberly
I'm a newbie. Still getting myself acquainted with HubPages. Hello to everyone.
I'm very much still in my hub nappies (or diapers depending where you're from), so hello everyone.
I'm pretty new, but I'm doin pretty well.
I doubled my adsense revenue today :-D.
Great. I just checked and I'm almost at payout again. I made my last payout a month ago
Nice! I can't wait until I get there. I was just happy to break the $2 in a day mark :-D.
Congrats on that. I'm starting to see some revenue from HubPages also. Little by little, I guess.
I still feel like a newbie. Been here 4 months I think, but havent been active for the last 2 months. Not earning anything yet, but my hubs arent really money making hubs!
Love the forums!
Thank you for being so welcoming. I am brand spanking new to the forum and I am groping around in the dark attempting to find my way. I feel like I am being offered a hand up--so to speak.
It's worth mentioning this Hub from prometheus

Thanks for the official welcome. I'm a newbie.
Having a hard time. But here I am, I think I might be getting addicted to this place.
I had some trouble with my last hub, but I already published it.

Hello, I am new; well pretty new. I mean I joined some time ago. But, only recently started to really post materials. I have browsed various areas of the Hubs and am excited to get started in communicating within this format.
I am looking forward to interactions and making networking friends, on the "Hubs". I hope I am afforded the opportunity to meet with you, and to hear your input on what I have already posted.
I'll be sure to read up soon, try posting a link to one of your hubs here so people can get a head start-this is a good one

At four months (and many debates) I'm feelin' kinda old, but I think I could still pass as a newbie if everyone disregards the grey hairs I have received from the forums.

Kimberly
Count me among the guilty.

I consider myself a newbie because I still have less than ten fans . . . what am I doing wrong? I see people who have fans that haven't even written any hubs. What's up with that?
I am also a newbie here and I want to meet everyone who would like to interact with me! I know that everybody has something to share. I also like reading a lot of hubs, they are very informative!!!!
I would like to welcome myself and all the new hubbers, lol!!
Thank you to the advices of the old hubbers!!

Welcome to HP Everyone!
Just to bring you up to speed on Rule 22..

I have noticed a few questions asked by newbies that have been asked before and so many times it is probably impossible to count. I have noticed comments of annoyance at the same questions being asked yet again. I am sure at some point I will have been here long enough to get every bit as annoyed.I...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

Hi Hubbers,I hope I'm posting my introduction in the correct place; if not, someone point me in the right direction? So far, I'm psyched over this site. Though there are tons of warnings "out there" for "serious" writers to stay away from these types of sites, I have a...

I'm still kind of new here but here are my bits:-My best piece of forum advice for other newbie hubbers is, if you have a question to ask, search it up on the HP search bar or on Google to see if that question has already been answered. -Don't judge the whole community from any negative experiences...
by Ultimate Hubber 14 years ago
I see it a lot often in these forums that people misguide newbies with their confusing and wrong answers. I am not saying they do this intentionally. Maybe they need to look cool or something. That was OK with me. But lately, there is one hubber who joined about 5 months back, he is continuously...

Hello all! I am new to hubpages and just wnated to make an introduction. From what I have seen so far in the forums this seems like a great community. I hope to get more aquainted with hubpages, as well as make some online friends. I'm considering the 30 day challenge but am a little intimidated as...
