I have been really struggling to write new hubs. I have just written about 25 hubs in the last 2 months whereas I wrote 87 in the month of January alone. Its no that I have been busy. I am just not being able to produce hubs. I am stuck guys. With such a wonderful contest going on at hubpages I feel I am missing out. My apology to Simone and team would make a strong effort to get my act together and start writing hubs for the contest. Any help or suggestion to help improve the situation would be appreciated.
Sounds like you have writer's block and all of us experience that. Your a wonderful writer so write about things that such as animals, places, people, music, or even humor.
it sounds like your trying too hard. Maybe you should try to relax a bit first. Then once your relax, just think about whatever topic interests you the most. It could be something that you heard about on the news that peaks your interest, or if you want, you can write about something that interests you. Do you have any hobbies? If so, then maybe you can write a hub telling people how to do something that involves the same hobby your into. Anyways, I'm just throwing out suggestions right now. I hope it helps.
A good way would be to stay out of the forum and do some writing of any kind. Watch the news, get ideas from TV or radio or magazines. Easter is coming up, write something about that. Summer is coming, write something about that.
Try not to think of making money...write what you like and if it is quality content it will find an audience and the money will come eventually.
OR..... (an alternative to UW's idea), come to the forums (especially the politics or religion ones) and get yourself all worked up and "inspired" to the point where you have to go write a Hub. ::
Lol, the only thing those forums have inspired in me is heartburn
Thanks for your interesting and useful ideas Steven and UW

I think that stevennix had hit the nail right on the head! "You are trying too hard!" The ideas will come to you in time and as mentioned we all get writer's block. We also feel that we have to explain ourselves to someone, if we have not been producing lately. I, like everyone else on this website love to write. I have a lot of things to write about, but besides just getting over being sick with a respiratory infection, have not been able to produce and put all of those ideas into words as of yet. So like everyone else here in the forum just mentioned...take a little break, it will come to you with a little patience!

I like to walk away, go play with the kids, go for a bicycle ride, sit by the river, read a book, do anything that clears my mind. When I do this ideas just seem to surface without any help from thinking.
Great ideas earnestshub except the kids one as I am still to have my own and other people's kids seem to always get the better of me.
All kids get the better of me. I'm a pushover!

Well, summer is fast approaching here in sunny Florida, so I've been busy clearing as much area as possible to grow an organic garden. Florida betony, by the way, has an ubiquitous root system! Today I'm feeling a little fatigued, and if any of you have casually checked my Facebook posts, you'll...

Figures, the HubChallenge hits, I had tons of ideas swarming in my head about what to write, I sit down to write, and I go blank! It's annoying and it sucks. What do you all do to help you stimulate your writing or unblock your writer's block?

Are you suffering from what is called the 'Writer's block'?For months I have been unable to write something on hubpages. I have had brilliant ideas but I end up procrastinating and telling myself that those ideas are best left to be written later for the book I intend to write someday. In the...

What do you do when you hit writer's block and can't come up with new ideas to write?

What do you do when you get writer's block? Am I the only one that has trouble getting...myself in the mood to write? Or, am I the only one that has trouble getting ideas "out" of me onto the computer (or paper)? I constantly run into this problem. I have so many novels in the works, and...
