Twice now I have logged into my account and seen my earnings increase and then return to see that a click has been subtracted by Google, this happened this evening and last night?
This happen to anyone else? I'm worried someone on Hubpages might be deliberately clicking my ads, although its not a massive amount of clicks, I only average about 27 clicks a day so I'm probably just paranoid.
I was worried someone is angry at me because I said I disliked another website lol
Tracking clicks on web pages is a rather inexact science. Most clicks will initially be counted. However, Google and most affiliate networks have sophisticated software to determine whether a human being actually clicked on a web page button, and not some automated spam bot or something.
After the software reviews the source, only those clicks that have a high degree of certainty are counted. This is why some clicks are taken back sometime later.
OK thanks, just never happened two days in a row to me before!

Does anyone know why clicks on adsense ads will sometimes generate little or no revenue? Some clicks seem to generate a dollar or so, and others nothing at all.

In past hour one or some of my hubs received almost 39 invalid clicks. Any idea how to remove one's Adsense ID from affiliate settings. Apparently there is no option to do so.
