I recently tried to read a hub that I thought was interesting and had to keep muting the video ads at the top of the page to get through it without having to mute my computer. As I was already listening to music, it was very distracting and irritating.

I am wondering what you all think about this and whether these intrusive ads will change the amount of time readers spend viewing our hubs.
If anyone knows how long a person needs to stay on the page for the HP Ads Program to count it as a view, I would love to know that. Do you think that these videos could have an affect on our views and revenue? What do you think.

Most of my hubs have many ads on them. I have been going over old hubs and tweeking them and noticed many of the older hubs have no ads. I am not sure if they never did or they were taken off.
