2- Using of E-resources

The modern education is highly benefited from the technological innovations and developments. The best revolutionary example of using e-resources is the using of computers. It has reduced the complexity of learning as well as the processing of research works compared to the 19th century and earlier times. Now, e-libraries are the emerging trends in universities and colleges. The traditional method of learning is also changed since the introduction of e-books and e-notes. Further the teaching method has also simplified and more students are benefited from classes by using presentations via animations, videos, and audios. Another worthwhile mention here is about the modern practical labs. Benefiting from technologies, the application of theories and practical lab based learning has modified tremendously. But still these facilities are more or less favorable to the developed world. This is the main reason for the high quality of research output producing from the developed world. Anyway, the cooperation among countries and the exchanging of knowledge, students and faculties inspires the backward countries to reap more benefits from learning with the use of advanced technologies.

3- Internet and Education

The 21st century will be faster one with the influence of internet. 4- Inter-disciplinary Approach in Research Education

One of the emerging trends in research education is that, it promotes inter-disciplinary learning. The reason is, the ultimate aim of a research is to develop a system or a theory. The specialized learning has many limitations to reduce the complexity a reality since every problem or theories are based on multiple aspects. So, inter-disciplinary learning has more significance to produce an efficient research outcome. It is applicable everywhere even in social sciences. No social issues can be studied on the basis of a single aspect, but it would be more effective study when it considers various aspects like political, economical, social, environmental, psychological and even spiritual aspects. This is the reason for the changing of the nature of many research institutes. At present, many material science research institutes are introducing courses in humanities and social sciences.

5- Method of Evaluation of Educational Output

The existence of stiff competition among knowledge producing agents is now focusing on the quantitative aspects without neglecting the qualitative aspects. Evaluation includes students’ result and the status of the institution. The students’ evaluation method has become more based on practical outputs produced by the students rather than struggling with written examinations. Coming to the institutional evaluation, numerous factors are to be taken in to account like teacher-student ratio, research output, publications, international collaborations, presence of international faculties and students etc. In fact, the evaluation of an educational system has been changing in accordance with the changes of time.

Concluding Remarks

As time passes, educational system is also witnessing tremendous changes. The 21st century enjoys a better system of education. But still one of the remaining facts is the existence of the discriminating gap between haves and have not to acquire education, particularly in the field of higher education. The mutual understanding and collaborations among different countries is very urgent to bring a sustainable education for all.
