    What is the phone contact etiquette when someone wants something from you?

    The director of a club I left 4 years ago is trying to get me to rejoin. While on a social networking site she once again asked me to rejoin. I sent her my phone number in return chat to indicate she should call me so we could discuss it. I did not receive a call, I got her phone number in the next chat sending to indicate that I should call her. Since she wants something from me shouldn't she be the one to initiate contact?

    It's possible that shes trying to not be pushy. It's a sales tactic. Its supposed to make you wonder and want something more, even if you don't want it. It's working so well, that you're on Hubpages asking people about it. Hmmmm.

    LOL. Boy, did she pick the wrong person to try that tactic on.

    This is actually an etiquette question. When one person wants something from another shouldn't they be the ones that make the extra effort or put themselves out to try to get what they want?
