Have you or a loved one ever suffered from a severe allergic reaction to a medication?
What were the symptoms? What did you do to treat it? Did you seek medical help? Do you have any natural remedies to share that might help?
Yes, Sulfa...which is an under lying ingredient to many medications. Hives, fever, and overall discomfort were the first reactions, but was advised to seek immediate medical attention if ever encounter the stuff. Any reactions to medication should always be seen by a doctor first, then in my case to treat the effects I used natural remedies such as oatmeal baths. To this day, I never have looked at oatmeal as a meal.
Hello,
No, not to a medication. But how severe was the reaction? Your best bet is to get to the emergency room. Natural remedies are wonderful for reactions like hives or itching, but if its to the point that your throat is closing up call 911.
