Why do you think our weather patterns have been so weird?
I live in Knoxville, TN. Over the past month, I have noticed that the weather changes literally from day to day. For example, last week, it was in the 50s and low 60s. Last weekend, it got cold again. This week, it has warmed up from the high 40s to 60 today. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 70. What is going on? Can anyone please explain our strange weather patterns to me? Thanks in advance!
I can't explain it, but I live in West Tennessee and I'm loving these warmer temps! Right now it's 63 degrees. I saw a little bit of snow last Saturday, but now it's very pleasant. I say we just skip on into spring!
weather is a very cyclic series of events- thats what we have to realize did the dinos wonder-why it was getting colder - they might not have been able to note it. The cavemen noticed it but didnt write it down-there have been freezes and thaws throughout mans history- the thames froze once in 1700's or 1800's I remember 1988 was very hot in 90's for weeks. But last year we got into the 80's maybe 3 days. In Buffalo NY, we have a saying- If you dont like the weather- wait a few hours and it will change....

I have no idea. I live in Upstate New York, and we have had no snowstorms at all this winter. VERY little snow here.
There are people in my area who give speeches and presentations about global warming, and they blame that for the weather patterns.
I think our worst winter in the past two decades in this area was the Blizzard Of 1993. I remember 1994 was also very severe.
Since that time we have had some snowstorms, but nothing like those 2 years.
Since I have lived in this area since childhood, I remember winters being REALLY winter growing up. We never even saw the ground for months as it was covered with snow.
Now it seems to be the opposite. We see much less snow and more ground.
Nature is also confused. Crocuses start to sprout early as well as other bulbs.
No snowstorm in our forecast at all since Winter began in this area.

Have you noticed a change in the birds in your yard and neighborhood?Since the climate has been changing, are the birds that normally would migrate south staying in your region?

If the earth is really getting hotter, why is it so cold-- and wet? Extreme weather is being reported all over the world-- from the the unusually cold winters to the unusually warm winters. It is also raining when it should not in many places. Is the earth really heating up?

Where are the hurricanes this year?Hurricanes do damage and bring about heavy rain, but what happened this year? What has caused the hurricanes to vanish? Does the US have the technology to change the weather? Can H.A.A.R.P. actually alter the weather patterns?
