What do you think is our maximum population limit on our planet?
Just wondering the earth would be like in 2050 and beyond.
Hard to say, as technology can change the equation. The so-called 'green revolution' saw worldwide food production grow considerably thanks to modern irrigation techniques. Future improvements in agriculture, transportation methods, and energy production could dramatically increase the number of us we can squeeze onto this rock.
Also, as the recent stories of asteroid mining indicate, if we can start bringing raw materials in from off-planet, well then our carrying capacity could also be increased.
Glad you mentioned asteroid mining, best answer to controlling our population is in how much access we have to resources.
Good point.

I personally believe we are extremely overpopulated, and I don't believe enough is being done to fix it. I think that we need to have stricter laws about how bit our families can be, and I think that adoption should be a first priority. Every one has their dreams, and I know that it is hard to let...

Have we reached the maximum human population carrying capacity? If you refer to the picture, this can be observed when viewing population of bacteria growing in a petri dish. If Earth is the petri dish, where do you think humans are on this chart? Is our population about to crash?

Is there a maximum word count limit on hubs?I read somewhere that it is recommended that a hub should have a minimum of 300 words to pass the quality assessment process. I was wondering if there is a maximum word count per hub. What is your highest word count?
