    I have taken both on-line classes and classes in a class room. I felt like I got more out of the classes where I was in a classroom with the professor and other students. We could do hands on projects and ask questions immediately. On the on-line classes I felt like I was just going through the motions to get through it as quickly as possible and therefore did not get as much out of it.

    I went to college late in life and took classes both online and in the classroom. I found that I needed to take  the math classes in the classroom where I could ask questions. Other classes like history, literature, and writing intensive classes were amazingly easy online. I think each person needs to figure out which classes they will find the easiest for them to take online and which they need the classroom experience for.
