NASA wants the okay to Play God

    NASA wants the money and to get ready to build something to send into outer space that would capture an asteroid and pull it to our moons atmosphere. To read more on this

        really? are you serious?  The *problem* is if you would think
        about what could happen if while NASA's magnet is pulling on the asteroid, what happens if the gravitation of earth or some other body in space pulls it towards the direction of earth? 

        Why play chicken with an asteroid?
        Once it hits earth, I hope you are with those you love and I guess
        we will chat on the other side.

          The asteroid is tiny, the atmospheric entry temperature would be immense. It would be like throwing popcorn into a volcano.  Nothing would happen. Just as nothing happens when objects this size hit the earth on a daily basis.
