Certain classic songs always will have a special place in a person's heart that can make them remember certain childhood memories or good times they may have shared with family. For example, some classic songs may include the memory of a first kiss, or maybe even a first date. Maybe a certain song can make a person remember their first party and a time when they first got into trouble. No matter what the memory is, these classic songs will always take you back to that special time during childhood.

Michael Joseph Jackson has always been known as the "King of Pop". During the 1980s, he began to create a new type of music style, called pop music, that would influence many music artists of future generations. He invented fresh new dance moves, like the robot and the moonwalk. He was born in August of 1958 and passed away during June of 2009. MJ's memory and musical influence are still felt around the world today, even after his passing. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, MJ is also featured in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful entertainer of all time. He is also known as the recording artist to have won the most awards in music history.

Madonna Louise Ciccone is another musical artist that followed the new pop genre. She created a new and trendy musical style for many female future recording artists to be influenced by. Her unique image entailed bright blond hair, red lips, and an unorthodox wardrobe, which is the foundation for modern female artists, such as Lady Gaga. Madonna was born during August of 1958 and has been married twice, once to Sean Penn then later to Guy Ritchie. She is recognized by the world as the "Queen of Pop" and by the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling female recording artist of all time.

Formed in 1986, the duo became an international act in the late 1980s.

Whitney Elizabeth Houston seems to be the poster girl for childhood memories. Born during August of 1963, she has made a name for herself that will never be forgotten. She evenutally married Bobbi Brown and later became a mother to a daughter named Bobbi Kristina Brown. Her untimely death by drowning in 2012 has only increased her popularity. Whitney Houston is the only artist that created seven consecutive hits that ranked number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Hits. She was also the first woman musician to create many best selling albums consistently.

5. Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"
This song is very popular among women, when they were younger. This song can bring back childhood memories of sleep-overs, hot dates, and even girls getting into a bit of trouble during their teenage years. Cynthia Ann Stephanie was born during June of 1953 and her career has continued on for the past four decades. Cyndi Lauper is featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's exhibit called "Women Who Rock". She has created many number one hit songs, but this song is best remembered for childhood memories for many women today. Her unusal style and wardrobe can still be found during this century.
