   The strongest hero in my book has to be magnus, wolf or naix. I cannot lose with them. But the worst I would have to say is techies. The reason behind that is he is useless if you just build necrobook from the start. It takes him out of the game. Hope this helps and hope you can give me some feedback about your opinion.

      force staff and aghanims scepter made Techies a late gamer. With a few bombs at place....simply push enemy heroes near the bombs ..a dagger-suicide combo can't be countered by any item. Techies also boast an AOE skill with the highest damage in game

   It highly depends on your level as a player. For those who already knows the weaknesses and strengths of every hero and has fast hands an intelligence or agility type hero is a good pick. invoker for me is the best int type hero as you have more than 4 skills to choose from. If you are fast enough, you can spam all his skills and eliminate even the toughest heroes with ease. Tinker is also one of the strongest intelligence type heroes due to his last skill which acts like a refresher orb.
   
   The strongest agility type hero for me is Phantom Assassin.. He can easily reach 1K crit even with just a few luxurious items. The only thing left for you to do is buy a black king bar and almost no hero can stop her. She also has a dodge skill so physical attacks won't be so much effective unless the enemy hero has a monkey king bar.
   
   On the other hand, if you are new to DOTA, the best hero to pick are strength types. Centaur Warchief is the best pick in my opinion due to his excellent innate tanking capabilities. He can also kill as well. A Centaur Warchief even if controlled by a newbie can still bring upon great impact in a game played by pros.
   
   If the game is really serious or if I bet our house on it, I'll most likely use Magnataur or Shadow Fiend. Both are excellent mid lane heroes who can do well in every stage of the game. I highly recommend Magnataur as you can kill all enemiues in less than 5 seconds with the right build.
   
   My Tip For Magnataur:
   
   starting items: 3 ironwood branch 1 chicken 1 tango 1 salve 2 clarity potions
   
   stay on the mid lane and spam your first skill to make money... After buying a crow and bottle, aim for Power Threads and Mask of Madness. Kelen's Dagger and Battle Fury comes next.. Then Buriza Do Kyanon..Assault Cuirass will complete your inventory. With these items, you won't have any problem eliminating the whole enemy team on your own.. ahaha

      By the way... if controlled by a completely new player. the weakest is Enchantress... He has the lowest strength gain so one who don't know proper positioning during clashes will end up dead in seconds...

   There is no strong or week heroes, every hero is unique. There are heroes that are best for the beginners (drow ranger, BS and so on), but they are just easy to play heroes. So, it only depends on your level as a player.

   The strength of any hero in DOTA or DOTA2 depends on the player. Not the hero itself. If an experienced player knows how to use a hero, the hero becomes a threat to the enemy. But if an experienced player uses a hero he does not know and did not learn it fast enough while playing. . . He will come off as a noob.
   
   Bottom line: Hero strength depends on the player and team mates.

   I think he is referring to the old DOTA. Well, there are various classifications of heroes. You can't simply say Netherdrake is better than Crystal Maiden since it has better attacking power and defense. Every hero is strong and has the possibility to be the strongest in a game if used accordingly and equipped with the right items. But for me, my all time favorite is Sven, the Rogue Knight. I simply admire his cleaving ability and insane physical damage from his gs.

   I like a few of the old classic heroes like:  Silver Surfer, Superman, Capt. American, etc.  For me, they are "strong' images in heroes.   There's a lot of 'weakness' I was disappointed in the under rated hero; Aqua Man.  Of course these are from the comic classics I followed as a kid.   Been too busy in the 'adult' world to catch up with the newer images, now admired, in films, animation, and electronic games.

   I'm trying to download DOTA 2 but the damn thing keeps resetting to zero. If I can iron out the bugs in Steam Linux and obtain a working game, I will have a go.
