Why are humans OBSESSED with who's wearing a bikini?

Why are the main pages of online news sites utterly littered with articles that obsess over a celebrity wearing a bikini? I've worked as a pool attendant for many years, and most people do. One pieces and other forms of modest aquatic attire seem to be banned unless you are a social reject. So therefore, bikini-wearing is common. Why is it always on the news?

I'm not, so obviously I'm not human.  What was wrong with 'Why are some humans......?'

Sorry I thought I was the only non-human here.

Because sex sells. Celebrities look good in bikinis. We like looking at people who look good. That's basically where that ends.... I for one couldn't care less who is in a bikini today, tomorrow, or even yesterday. All I know is I'm not getting into one (and not because I'm a social reject, I just find it immodest and I have no desire to let that many people see that much of myself.)

Well I don't know... I'm pretty sure if someone got a snap of a male celeb that'd be news too!  wink "Oh my God, would you look at that!"

Haha, me too. It's one thing for people to like looking at it...particularly males...but I wish it could be placed in the appropriate venue.

I am not seeing anything that connects to what you are saying...If I had to answer the question asked I would say I prefer to be obsessed with humans wearing bikini's, particularly women rather than any other species on the planet....like a....

Yeah, I see this with increasing frequency. Today it was "Jada Pinkett Smith, 41, Unafraid to Don Bikini". Bikinis always on the news! Would be nice to see other animals for once.
