some good, hot mesquite-charcoal-grilled chicken wih a nice sear on it but still moist and juicy, some plain Basmati rice with a little butter, salt and pepper on it, and some nice fresh green beans sauteed in olive oil with fresh garlic and shallots, and an ice cold glass of tea, then a sliver of chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache and fresh raspberry sauce and black coffee, sitting on the patio with friends around the firepit.

that is an ideal meal, all right.

How about that..he's cooking me that medium rare filet right now.  Only difference is, we're having corn on the cob instead of salad.

      Now I'm really hungry!

I went to this sushi restaurant called Sensais in Kona a few weeks ago and I have to say that the most delicious sushi I have ever had (it might possibly be the greatest thing to ever grace my taste buds) was the panko crusted shashimi ahi with butter sauce.

Add a side of Saki and I am good to go! Yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy...

The very last, best meal in a great atmosphere with people I like that I've had:  Could be almost anything, anywhere.

The last one was Chicken Tandori with Basmati rice, Indian flat bread and a host of sauces with unbelievable spices...in a comfortable/elegant restaurant with candles and flowers on the tables.  It was cold outside and the Chai tea was perfection!

    Heaven, smile.

Fish and Chips on a cheap plastic tray eaten with a wooden fork in  a cold seaside town in winter. Throw in a few mushy peas too and it's perfection.

Candlelight, great companions, wonderful conversation, a medium rare steak with a side of skinny sketti and grilled veggies...ummm.  Be sure to start with a reaspberry daiquiri and move to a good red wine. (end the night with a bubble bath, a roaring fire and more wine)... can't beat the combination!

I love fish, so my ideal dinner would consist of:

Cajun baked Salmon or Catfish, mixed vegetables with diced fruit (like mango or pineapple), with steamed white rice!  Dessert would be a creamy cheese-cake with strawberry topping.  Don't forget the wine; a simple wine, like a zinfandel.  Let's eat!
