I go to Universal Studios every week or two to take pictures and videos for my website. Lately I've made a lot of articles about the new Harry Potter theme park there.

What are some of the things you want to know about it? Things not found in the normal articles about it?

I just made a youtube video of inside HoneyDukes candy store and will have an article about that. What other things do you want to know about the park? smile

I dunno what things are found in "the normal articles about it", but I wanna know who had the bright idea of glorifying and mainstreaming witchcraft to youngsters while taking their money too?

    Bill,

Finding out some of the deals Universal is offering, especially those for Florida residents that are not that well publicized, if any. I know of a few Disney offers as well as some unwritten “perks” for pass holders but I have not heard that much about Universal.

Ohhh, good idea! I keep forgetting that most want to know how to save money and stuff like that. Instead I write too much about the actual rides and stuff that most already know about.

Thanks, I'll dig into it and make an article about Universal deals going on now. smile

    Bill,

I have a couple of hubs up about Disney, the focus of one is on this aspect, it maybe worth a look. Though I’ve heard there have been some price structure changes and I may need to update it.

I have never been to Universal and I'd like to read more about it, with WWHP now open my wife has a great interest in going
since she is a huge HP fan.

Oh she will love it! As I'm sure you know, now is a great time to go. The crowds are thin and will be until Thanksgiving.

The only times it will be full is on Halloween Horror nights, so try to go during the week. If you can't pick Sunday.

The forbidden journey ride is fantastic and right now you only have to wait around 20 minutes.

Thanks and have fun if you go. smile

Is there a place I can write to and request to have it torn down?

What, you don't like it? Or do you think it should have been made in the UK? hmm

Hi Bill--For those of us who don't have any chance of getting to the theme park in the near future...sad...I think that anything you'd want to write about or show videos of would be appreciated!

I know I would love to see as much as I could--do they have a  Flourish & Blotts bookstore there?  Or the post office?  I suppose those would be my top picks, since you asked! big_smile

Thanks for giving us the chance to speak up! smile

    Tammy

No Flourish & Blotts bookstore there, sorry. But the post office,,, you mean the Owl post? Yup, they have that. Along with HoneyDukes, Dervish and Banges, Ollivanders wand shop, Zonko's joke shop and Filch’s Emporium.

Here's a few pics. If you go to my profile you can see my youtube page where I have made a lot of videos of the Harry Potter park.

Plus I've made a lot of articles about it in my tourist site. Which is why I'm asking here what more people want to know about it? smile

Oh it's all done, it was opened in June. It's in the Islands of Adventure park at Universal Studios. Now is a great time to go as the crowds are small. smile

I hear that the seats on some of the rides are having to be enlarged as the customers cannot actually get in the seats! yikes

Yes, many people cannot fit into the seats, this is true. I don't think they are making the seats bigger, they just refuse the ones who can't fit. It's been that way since they opened.

Since the ride does a lot of moving around up and down, people have to fit snug in the seats. So, if your,,, uh,,, barrel shaped,, shall we say, you will not fit.

But I've seen some pretty big people get to go on it. Everyone is different so if your large you don't know until you try it.

They do have test seats outside the ride you can try before going on it. smile
