Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has published an ebook here and if so have you had any success with it? If so where did you put it, what has been the most successful for you? I've published mine and have it in a few places. I know selling any book, digital or otherwise is a challenge to put it mildly!
Just be interested in others experiences of ebook selling.
Thanks
Dawn
My ebooks sell best via epublishers who have a built in audience.
I haven't, Dawn, but I've been researching sites to help me with paper books. If you're not already a member, there are several sites you can join which are loaded with published and aspiring authors. The forums are very useful. Even if it's not your genre, try Crimewriters. Also ebookpublishingtools.com, blurb.com, redgage.com, scribd.com may be helpful with info. Meetup.com is a site which lists bookclubs. They may want to read your book if you offer a free copy in print and let them print off more copies. Thirddoormedia.com (Search Marketing) is a company with online seminars. The next upcoming is about facebook marketing. Worth a look but you need to register to open it on seminar day.

I have four books on Amazon kindle. My purported agent goaded me into writing them and promised sale within a day or two. It is two weeks now and no dice. Did he do wrong or did I?

I've come across Poetry.com through another website helping poets to make money from and publish their poetry. Poetry.com has you submit up to 4 poems per submission and they pay $150 per poem. So I was wondering if there was anybody out there who has used Poetry.com before or another website like...

I have asked this question before and got two conflicting answers. Can you use the hubs you've written and turn them into an ebook without violating the rules? I would really appreciate it if someone "official" from HubPages would give me a definite answer. Thanks so much,Catgypsy

Some years ago, I tried self publishing books and I started with Smashwords. At the time, I didn't realize I was doing well. I reached the charts in both the UK and Aussie for one of my ebooks on itunes, and another book did very well as well. Anyway, I was unhappy, so I decided to go to Amazon....
