OK, for most of you professional hubbers this will not be a big deal but....after 12 months I check this morning and I've made 91 cents. The first money I've ever made on the web. Ever. I am totally pumped. This 91 cents has renewed my faith in my fellow man. I now have a reason to live. I know some make hundreds and others thousands even but this 91 cents means a lot to me. I figure you gotta start somewhere.
Very true Tobey, and congratulations. I used to count pennies in my adsense account. And I remember when I'd be thrilled to make 50 cents in a day. Then it was a dollar. Then it was keeping it above a dollar a day. Then it was $2, $3, $4, etc.
When I made my first Amazon sale I about flipped. It was a whole month before the 2nd one hit, but then they started coming fast.
Keep going and learning and be patient. If you build it, they will come.
Actually as I clicked submit and waited for it to process I realized you've been here for a year and have published over 100 hubs. If making money with this is among your goals, you may want to stop writing for a while and do some learning about what works.
Of course, many writers aren't in it for the money. But if you are, sorry dude, but those stats totally suck.
Oh, I happen to be one of those that's not really concerned about the money. If I was I'd be writing about entirely different topics. I'm just having a blast with hubpages. I'm just sorta tickled that I actually made almost a dollar without trying too hard.
Congratulations Tobey, the first few cents are always the sweetest and more money will follow

So now I can see the light. just repeat what I did and write 37 more hubs and I will make 2 more cents right? But the first set of hubs will again make 2 cents also so I will then have 6 cents! Yes! I can see my income growing exponentially from here on out. What a thrill! Okay so its not...

Finally got adsense approved, and I made a dollar! And enough change to cover sales tax!Yes, this is exciting. Don't judge me. I need some good news amid my Twitter battle. I'm starting to hate social media.

It's nothing to brag about I know. But I always like to track any income to see if something is working.I got active about 9 days ago and have tried hard to build 10 decent hubs. I've monetized them with Amazon, Ebay and Adsense. Today I was checking and found I've made my first whopping 13 cents...
