      Clickbank is the best affiliate site and their products are digital products ( e-book or programs )

   I prefer to use amazon, Clickbank is Digital Products, it is harder to sell soemthingthat people can't hold in their hands.  If you play things right though you can still make a profit. I met the VP of clickbank last month, he is a nice guy and actually said tehy are looking at improving their interface in teh future so it is easier to use.

   One thing you need to understand about clickbank and CJ is CDR. CDR concept in short means you have to make sales(5 or more) from multiple credit cards or payment processors. If you fail to do that then they've right to hold your payment until CDR threshold is lifted. For some affiliate networks CDR is initiated only once and after that they don't apply it for active affiliates.
   
   Another thing you need to watch out from these two affiliate networks is dormant accounts policy for example I made 3 sales over 100$ and got my payment hold because of CDR and after that i didn't made a sale for 6 months and they started 1$ balance reduction every 15 days,which is shocking.
   
   So in short if you want to make money with clickbank or commission junction then you've to do some aggressive affiliate marketing for constant sales to avoid CDR/Dormant account policy (and yes, this falls under gray area of marketing).

   If I were to ever use Clickbank, it would be to open up my own digital product to affiliates.
   
   There are some great success stories, but the digital market is not all that big.

         Although, you will note that I did specifically state that I would only sell my own digital product - rather than promote them for others. Which it seems is what you have done?

   Tried it but never managed to stick with it. I promoted only one product, wrote 10 articles and just left it there and never came back.
   
   That was a year ago and since then earned around $700 which is great considering I did not touch it for a whole year. Every now and then I make a sale. Small income, but passive. I got tired of repeating the same thing over and over again.
   
   I prefer Hubpages

   If you can find something that fits your content well, clickbank can be a godsend.
   
   I have had more luck with using Clickbank on my sites than any other vendor.  Amazon pays out such a paultry commission, and clickbank's 75% is crazy high compared to anywhere else.
   
   If the product fits your niche, it's by far my favorite option.

   I've never created a site with the idea of using clickbank, but I do use it on a lot of different sites that I own for different reasons. As a side income clickbank is great. They have a pretty good selection of items, I choose one or two that fits the page or site and then forget about it.
   
   I currently get a check from them every month. I pretty much consider it "money for nothing" being that I already have the site and would continue to work on it whether I got clickbank money or not.
