A few years ago, I had a website. I had an Adsense account and encouraged my friends and family to help out. My daughter, on a different computer, but same IP address, clicked on it too many times, trying to help mom, and I got booted.
So I have no adsense account. How will this effect making money on this site?
The number one way that people make money on this site will be unavailable to you. Once lost, AdSense accounts are not something that can hardly ever be regained, especially considering how you lost your account. (telling people to click is almost as big a boo-boo as you can make with AdSense).
You will be left with retail module options. Some people earn very well from these, some people do not. It often depends on how good and experienced a writer and salesperson you are.
thank you for your advice. Is Kontera as good? Should I try them? I do have an Amazon account.
I do okay with Kontera, but many people here complain they don't earn much from that. I found it took a lot of Hubs and many thousands of pageviews per month before the earnings became anything that added up to something.
But I don't know anyone who is running Kontera without having AdSense. That could change how that program performs.
I would go for Kontera and Amazon.
Losing your Google account is a major kick in the teeth, and it is also the number one reason why people get booted from the Adsense program.
This will have a negative affect on your hubs, and as Relache said, it is unlikely you will ever get the account back.
The best thing you can do now is suck up the fact that you will be earning less than you could, but that you can still earn a decent amount.
I personally earn more from Amazon than through Adsense.
you can try signing up with affiliate programs, advertising their products, thats a good way to make money too.there are also other companies where you can get banners for your side rather than google.
Sell Amazon products. I earn more money on Amazon than Adsense because one sale on Amazon is worth gazillion Adsense clicks.. ok that's an exaggeration. Use Kontera too it might help although it's not comparable to Google Adsense, it's better than nothing. Good luck! Sell Sell Sell
Have a nice day,
Rosie
My experience has been that you could earn a lot more from Amazon. Ebay may be pretty good too, but I'm not an affiliate of them. Dang.

This probably is one of the worse days of my life, after so much effort I have put online, here I stand with my Adsense account disabled due to invalid click activity. I don't have any clue why this happened! I have been here at Hubpages for more than 3 years and make more than 90% of my earning...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

I know we're not supposed to discuss specific earnings, but for those who have been around a while, which ad program seems to earn more, the HP Ad Program or Adsense? I'm still undecided as to which one to use.
