How Do You Increase Your Earnings Per Click with Ebay

   I seem stuck. I can't seem to get more than 13 cents per click... but I've heard of folks here getting 45 cents or more per click.
   
   I seemed to make much more money when the program was administered by Commission Junction I'm sorry to say. But I'd rather get paid this way than not paid at all...
   
   Thoughts?

      I get around the same, dropped dramatically over Christmas.
      
      You can get more by getting higher conversions on more expensive products. That is easier said than done though!

         As I said, the older system made more sense to me. I knew what I was making as a percentage of the auction fee. Oh well...
         
         I've tried linking to more expensive products but seem stuck at that level though it dipped lower yesterday for traffic from one website. Not sure what that was...

   If you're getting under 25-ish clicks per day, you will default to 13 cents per click no matter what you are selling. If you are not converting many expensive items, you may actually lose items if you start seeing more clicks.

   The value of a click is based on more than the price of an item. It also considers whether or not the item purchased is in the same category as the link clicked. How long it took the item to be purchsed. Whether or not Paypal was used. If an ACRU or CRU was created. These are just a few of the parameters that ebay staffers have mentioned over the past years as affecting click value. I'm sure there are other things they aren't mentioning.
   
   My philosophy has been to drive as much very targeted traffic as I can. On my own sites for example I limit the customers who can visit my site to US, Canada and Western Europe. Because other countries generate clicks but not many sales.

   I am just experimenting with trying to make the eBay hubs more targeted and it has had good results so far, before I was putting eBay ads on hubs that were broad in topic, which resulted in lower epc. When I made my hubs for eBay more targeted the epc has increased each of the last 2 months.
