I have created a Hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/Dragon-Age-2-cheats
When searching for the terms 'Dragon Age Cheats' or 'Dragon Age Cheats 2' my hub is nowhere in sight.
A site: http://segmentnext .com/2011/03/09/dragon-age-2-pc-cheats-enable-dev-console/ does appear.
It may be a subjective comment on my part, but my hub is far better than the site that is listed above my hub!
So what am I doing wrong - according to Google they want quality content, but that simply isn't the case!
Any pointers would really help! I add two extra spaces to the other site so I didn't create more backlinks for it!
I clicked the link in your post and, apparently, the page doesn't exist.
This page maybe?

Your site is in the Google index. I looked. Maybe it needs more than 34 hours before it hits the top spot.
Google expecting quality content is just another myth. For example, if you check the cheatcode sites then almost every site out there is using page redirects to increase pageviews. Many sites don't even list any cheats or any helpful content. They just heavily bombard keywords and some forum discussions. Google lists those sites on top of search results because of many factors (domain age, traffic and on-site SEO,backlink between multiple networks, forums).
It's really hard to give you concrete answer because HP pages are rarely getting page 1 treatment these days for many keywords. I'm sure your earlier pages on this topic enjoyed some good page 1 traffic.
I think Simey's best course of action is to get some quality backlinks over the next couple of months - a few per day should help a lot.
From Aaron Wall's latest article:
A useful document will pass a human inspection
A useful document is not ad heavy
A useful document is well linked externally
A useful document is not a copy of another document
A useful document is typically created by a brand or an entity which has a distribution channel outside of the search channel
A useful document does not have a 100% bounce rate followed by a click on a different search result for that same search query

My comments:
-I hope my hub passes human inspection.
-My hub isn't ad heavy - or at the very least is the same as the other sites.
-Well linked: the game was released on March 8 - my hub was released on March 9 - how can any hub be well linked externally without using methods that Google supposedly frowns upon?
-The information on all of the DA2 cheat sites is similar - I've added value by giving pictures and a more detailed explanation than most.
-not sure what distribution channel means?!
-bounce rate should be low as my hub is showing a 5* for duration.
I'm sure your hub is great Simey! But at the moment we can't rely on hubpages authority to get our pages on the front page as we used to, which means we might have to consider other options to help our pages.
Distribution channels means things like having a well trafficked facebook page, other social bookmarking/networking channels, email marketing, press releases....those kinds of things.
Some of my hubs also lost its previous Google first page position and a few are even gradually losing position everyday.I lost overall 700-800 views per day due to Google's latest Panda update.I think for Google is still fine tuning their algorithm and it will take a few more months to see the actual impact of this latest Google's search updates.
In the Panda update some websites got owned. Others are owned and operated by Google. - Aaron Wall
ROFL
While I was doing research on my latest hub I found 2-3 pages of articles that said the "Same Thing." These are the type of Articles that Google Likes!!! Not the readers.
Google wants Unique? What Bull! I would find multiple writers from the same sites saying the same thing. Copied content on all these pages, but I guess it doesn't count when the sites are high dollar Corporation. (And adds to profits of Google too I bet)
I'm finding similar garbage returns from Google. It's like Google emptied all the drunks from a saloon and gave them control. It makes no sense.
If I need instructions on a product's use, the first 5 pages are dominated by corporate sales and no useful info.
Update: I still can't find my Hub on Google - I've even added a lot more content. What is really annoying is that the first entry I can find that has anything to do with my Hub is a Digg.com entry I did - this is on page ten of the rankings! Why would a one paragraph Digg entry list higher than a 'high' quality Hubpage.....this is so annoying and worrying!
I've just looked up "Dragon Age 2 Cheats" in Google, you are on page 3, position 22. All rankings above appear to be dedicated games/games cheats sites - so you are ranking pretty well!
It takes weeks (can) for a page/site to get a proper ranking - OK, some may magically appear atop Google earlier, but this is as much as sheer luck that they were crawled/ranked so fast than anything else. While there maybe other factors (probably great link juice, such as Digg affords) that helped those quick rankings, as long as your site content is great, and sensibly SEO'd (good but not overuse of keywords), then you will gradually rise through the listings. If the 'opposition' has worse content (poor keyword use, inc spam) then they will drop below you in the rankings at some point. - It appears Digg already has.

I am starting to learn how to social bookmark. I've been doing it on twitter, facebook, igoogle, digg, delicious, diigo, my blogs, pingomatic and a few other places. I have only been doing it on some of these sites for the last four or five days. It probably takes a while to see...

One thing that I've noticed in my traffic stats is that one particular hub about a particular acoustic guitar - seems to be doing better than other hubs about what I would think would be guitars that are more sought after. So I looked at the hub that is doing so well, and tried to figure out why...
