I have a couple of Hubs that are two years old. I would like to make a couple of minor edits, but I fear that they would then get flagged for duplicate content, as they have been widely copied across the web over the last two years.
Thoughts?
I would go ahead and make the changes and point to your original publish date to indicate that your article is the original and has been copied if it is not allowed to be re-published for those reasons.
Also you should contact the sites where they have been copied and ask for them to be taken down
Hi
I just had a copied item removed from another site.
It turned out to be quite easy and painless
Actually there is nothing to worry about refreshing it, copyspace may include your site for the duplication but there is a date that would check the originality of the hub. Most flagging is made by our fellow hubbers, who wants to pull you down..instead of helping.
I would go ahead and refresh them I always refresh and update mine. As far as copies all over the net, if you didn't post them elsewhere then you need to file DMCA letters. If you did, then changes may help.

Found two my hubs on another site. What should I do?I found two of my recipe hubs, exactly the same, may be copy, pasted, on another site. But they have given a link to my original hub at the bottom. But they have used a different photo. What should I do? Should I report it? How?

If you are seeing a drop in traffic, start checking for more stolen content. After seeing a nice surge in traffic following the latest Panda thing, I suddenly tanked. Stats were not updated quickly, so it took me a bit to realize I was indeed seeing a 'trend.' Sure enough - there...

How much is too much copied content in hubs?
by Kelly Taylor 9 years ago
Perhaps this is already widely known, but I have just found most of my hubs copied in their entirety on hubinfo.netThere are literally thousands of our hubs there, all categorized, basically a cheap replica of hubpages. Is there anything to be done about such a site?
